The service
What is bed bug heat treatment?
Bed bugs sit in seams, joints, frames, skirting and voids — the places a spray cannot reliably reach.
Instead of treating individual surfaces, we use professional heating and air movement equipment to raise the temperature of the whole treated area under controlled conditions, and monitor what is happening across that area while we do it. Your bed, your furniture and most of your belongings usually stay where they are and are treated in place.
Our approved treatment specification targets 56°C. The target applies to the treatment as a monitored whole. A single reading at one position does not, on its own, demonstrate what happened across the treatment environment, which is why multiple positions are monitored and recorded during treatment.
